Kae Alexander

Born in Japan but a daughter of London from the age of 10, when her mother moved to the UK capital, Kae Alexander graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2011. She dipped her toe into the waters of television soon after in a variety of roles and shows, but it was her performance as series regular Jing in BBC Three sitcom Bad Education that first brought her attention. More key roles followed, including a part in the internationally-celebrated Game of Thrones (HBO) and crime thriller Hard Son (BBC), before she landed her standout role as Linh in the BAFTA-nominated four-parter Collateral (BBC/Netflix). She starred in both seasons of the BAFTA-winning Fleabag (BBC) and played Safe House in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One (2018). In 2017, she was named as one of the Evening Standard’s Rising Stars.

In 2019, she landed prime roles in Fox’s espionage thriller Deep State, season two of Superman spin-off series, Krypton, and eight-part drama Strangers (Amazon/ITV), as well as starring in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019). Kae has played the recurring character of Min in two seasons of The Wheel of Time (Amazon Prime), and guested in an episode of science fiction thriller Bodies (Netflix) in 2023. As for feature films, she starred in Medusa Deluxe (2022), the debut feature from writer/director Tom Hardiman, and also appeared in Antoine Fuqua’s Infinite (2021), alongside Mark Wahlberg, Rupert Friend and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Kae is represented by Jonathan Hall at Identity Agency Group.
