What is BAFTA Scotland Membership?

It’s a specific membership creating space for creatives in Scotland to connect with their peers and celebrate and support the talent of local industries.

Who can become a BAFTA Scotland Member?

If you have a minimum of three years of experience working in film, games or TV, or directly related fields such as research, you are welcome to apply if you:

  • Work in the production of film, games or TV
  • Work in the distribution, publishing or broadcasting of film, games or TV
  • Work in other fields directly related to film, games or TV, including research, festivals, teaching

Membership FAQs

  • BAFTA Scotland Branch membership is £143 annually for those living and working within 50 miles of Glasgow, or £88 annually for those more than 50 miles outside the central belt of Scotland.

  • Applications for BAFTA Scotland Branch membership are open year-round, and you can apply at any time.

  • BAFTA has always believed in being open about what data we collect from our members and what we do with it. Find out more in our membership privacy policy.

  • Only those living, or primarily working, in Scotland are eligible to apply for Branch membership.
