Want to become part of a vibrant community of creatives? BAFTA branch membership lets you connect with a global network of film, games and TV professionals all from your home base in Wales.

What is BAFTA Cymru Membership?

It’s a specific membership giving space for creatives in Wales to connect with their peers and celebrate and support the talent of local industries.

Who can become a BAFTA Cymru Member?

If you have a minimum of three years of experience working in film, games or TV you are welcome to apply if you:

Work in the production of film, games or TV
Work in the distribution, publishing or broadcasting of film, games or TV
Work in other fields directly related to film, games or TV, including research, festivals, teaching

Membership FAQs

BAFTA Cymru Branch membership is £143 annually for those living and working within 50 miles of Cardiff, or £88 annually for those 50 miles from Cardiff.
Applications for BAFTA Cymru Branch membership are open year-round, and you can apply at any time.
BAFTA has always believed in being open about what data we collect from our members and what we do with it. Find out more in our membership privacy policy.
Only those living, or primarily working, in Wales are eligible to apply for Branch membership.
