We are BAFTA Cymru – the Welsh home of world famous independent arts charity BAFTA. We support careers, champion creativity, and celebrate the exceptional storytelling emerging from Wales’ thriving film, games and TV industry.

What does BAFTA Cymru do?

BAFTA Cymru sits at the heart of the country’s screen industries. From our home in Cardiff, we create spaces for the extraordinary creative minds within Welsh film, games and TV to connect and grow.

We do all this through an exciting programmes of activity including:

  • facilitating a wide range of screenings, educational events and masterclasses for members and the public
  • staging a yearly Guru Live Cymru event – aimed at supporting and inspiring emerging talent
