BAFTA Memorabilia Auction 2020

The BAFTA collection, kindly donated by a host of notable names and BAFTA members, raised over £90,000 for BAFTA's charitable work.

On Tuesday 13 October 2020, a collection of iconic pieces from the world of film and television went on sale as part of the Bonhams Entertainment Memorabilia sale

Generously donated to BAFTA, lots included in Thor's Stormbreaker axe prop used in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and a rare, screen-used Sith Trooper Helmet from Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019) as well as Normal People's Paul Mescal’s football shirt and the iconic Villanelle pyjamas worn by Jodie Comer in Killing Eve.

Raising over £90,000, all proceeds from the BAFTA collection will go towards supporting the expansion of BAFTA’s year-round charitable activity, which is focused on finding and supporting new and existing talent in the UK and internationally, and breaking down the barriers that make it hard to build careers in the film, games and television industries.

With huge thanks to those who donated pieces for auction.
