Imagine seeing your name displayed in the iconic building where the worlds of film, games and TV meet.

At BAFTA we want to provide opportunities for those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to pursue a career in the film, games and television industries. To do this, we have redeveloped our home at 195 Piccadilly to substantially increase our learning and new talent programmes. As an independent arts charity we need to raise all the money ourselves to support this transformative work, and naming opportunities are just one of the important ways you can support.

Make it personal

Naming a seat is a personal way for you to support our charitable work.

Whether in your own name, a company name, in celebration of a loved one, an iconic screen arts character or in recognition of a milestone, your personalised plaque will sit among other screen arts creatives in our iconic Princess Anne Theatre. Through naming a seat, you enable us to discover, nurture and inspire the talent of the future, while spotlighting the remarkable individuals and organisations of the past and present.

When you name a seat, your inscription will be in place in our theatre, and seen by those across our industry and beyond, for at least the next 20 years. Crucially, you are helping BAFTA to ensure our screen-based industries are open to all.

I named a seat for my late mother and father as a public acknowledgement and private reminder of everything they gave me.  It seems like such a small thing, but it brings them into my world of movies and gives them a credit.  I like the idea that someone will idly read their names at a screening.  It’s like carving them on a tree in a forest - only much more ecological!
