BAFTA today has revealed its red-carpet hosts for this year’s BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises: the award-winning broadcaster, podcaster and television presenter Clara Amfo, and renowned and award-winning TV personality, radio show host, and author, Michelle Visage.

Audiences can watch the pair in-action live from the red carpet on BAFTA’s YouTube, Twitter and Facebook channels on Sunday 14 May, offering unrivalled access for all viewers and TV fans as proceedings get under way on the day, ahead of the BBC One and iPlayer broadcast.

Clara Amfo said: “I’m delighted to be working with BAFTA again this year. The UK has been spoiled with such a glorious range of compelling and entertaining television, so to celebrate the nominees on the red carpet alongside my fabulous friend Michelle Visage will be such a joy. I truly couldn’t think of a better person to have by my side as we speak to this year’s incredible nominees.”

Michelle Visage said: “I’m so happy to be back in my favourite place to celebrate the biggest night in British TV. I can’t wait to have some laughter and fun, welcoming this year’s fantastically talented nominees onto the carpet alongside my co-host and dear friend, the amazing Clara Amfo.”

The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises are the biggest night in the television calendar, recognising the incredible quality and variety of television that was enjoyed in 2022, with shows such as This Is Going To Hurt, The Responder, Bad Sisters and The Crown leading the nominations.

The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises will be hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan and will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer on Sunday 14 May at 7pm.
