BAFTA 195 Piccadilly is seeking a new AV Technician to join their busy team

Job purpose

The AV technician provides technical knowledge, expertise and support for BAFTA screenings, events, exhibitions and corporate hires within BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. They will also be involved in advising BAFTA on any future technical advancements and requirements and supporting the Technical Manager in ensuring that BAFTA 195 Piccadilly remains world class in the technical services it provides.

Ideally you will have:

Good knowledge of all AV formats
Excellent communication stakeholder management and influencing skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work under the pressure of live events
Good timekeeping and attendance record
Adaptable and quick to learn
Operation and knowledge of multiple formats of video and presentation formats including:-
Microsoft office suite
MAC (Keynote)
Video Files (inc Prores/ mp4 /mov)
Gaming Consoles

Ideally you will be:

Passionate about delivering the BAFTA ‘gold standard’ in everything you do
Someone who can create a memorable experience for our members and their guests
Flexible, professional and courteous
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Patient and compassionate when people ‘don’t get’ technology
Presentable at all times and comfortable liaising with guests
