Job Title: Account Manager
Location: 60% part week in London
Reporting to: Director of Bafta Media Technology (BMT)
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Start date: January 2022
We are looking for an Account Manager to act as the first point of contact with existing clients across BAFTA’s software products, answering complex client queries via a support portal, email and phone, and delivering one-to-one support where necessary.
The role requires you to establish and maintain a thorough understanding of BAFTA Tech’s software product functionality and how the software is used to simplify workflows for BAFTA, our clients, and their end users. One of your key goals is to maintain and improve where possible client satisfaction.
You will also be responsible for lead generation across BAFTA Tech’s software products. This applies equally to sourcing new leads, as well as extending the portfolio of BAFTA systems and services used by existing clients.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, have an aptitude for getting to grips with knotty workflows and love working towards set goals, this job is right for you. You will use your communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs while representing our company in a positive and professional way. Previous customer service experience in a software environment would be a distinct advantage.
Ultimately, you will contribute to enabling BAFTA to deliver core activity as well as building positive long-term relationships with new and existing clients to reach our business objectives.
We are looking for a someone who also has excellent communication skills and can explain highly technical concepts in a way that non-technical staff, clients, and admin users can understand. You’ll be working in a small team structure in an agile environment, which requires a flexible, ‘all hands-on deck’ approach.
