Robin Parkinson

A British actor, who is best known for his role as Ernest Leclerc in sitcom ’Allo ’Allo! (1991-1992) and as the narrator of popular children’s series Button Moon (1980-1988). Throughout his screen career, Robin Parkinson mostly appeared in television dramas, including his debut in an episode of Hilda Lessways (1959). However, he clearly enjoyed performing comedy, both in sitcoms and sketch shows, including a recurring role in The Many Wives of Patrick (1976-1978). Among his many guest appearances were Life with Cooper (1968), Dad’s Army (1974), Rising Damp (1975), Bless This House (1976), The Young Ones (1982), Hi-de-Hi! (1986), The Two Ronnies (1983), The Kenny Everett Television Show (1982-1986), The Brittas Empire (1992) and The Peter Serafinowicz Show (2007).
