An Australian director of photography, who worked across both film and television. Michael Elphick’s credits included the films The Year of Sir Ivor (1969), Just Inès (2010), Don’t Call Back (2010) and Thirst for Blood (2014), while his small screen work included Sherlock Holmes (1968) and Callan (1969). A short film shot by Elphick, Naked Yoga (1974), earned an Oscar nomination in the Documentary (Short Subject) category.
