A British journalist and presenter, who was a familiar face on BBC’s Breakfast sofa for 15 years (2001-2016). Turnbull started out in radio, before a move to the US, initially as a freelance reporter, saw him become a US correspondent for the BBC’s Breakfast Time in 1988 (which later evolved into Breakfast). Returning to the UK, he became a regular host on Breakfast, while also presenting Songs of Praise (2012-2014) and a Horizon special, ‘What’s Killing Our Bees?’(2013), and hosting quiz show Think Tank (2016). He was also one of the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing (2005).
