Harlene Freezer, Vice Chairman

Harlene Freezer is an independent producer and the President of Capstone Entertainment. Her film and television credits include: Senior Producer, American Masters, the Emmy Award, Academy Award and Peabody Award winning PBS series; Director and Programmer, First Look, an independent film series for Tribeca Film Center, CAA and Eastman Kodak Company; and President of New York Women in Film & Television, an association of over 1500 members and part of an international network of industry professionals.

Her most recent film, Parliament Funkadelic: One Nation Under a Groove, was the premiere episode of the Independent Lens series 2005/2006 broadcast season and was the opening night film for the Prized Pieces Film Festival.

She won an Emmy Award for the documentary Edward R. Murrow: This Reporter and received an Emmy nomination for Harold Lloyd: The Third Genius. Her London theater producing credits include: Ragtime; Absolutely! (perhaps), directed by Franco Zeffirelli and starring Dame Joan Plowright; A Voyage Round My Father, starring Sir Derek Jacobi and Frost/Nixon, starring Frank Langella. Harlene is a co-producer of the Broadway production of Frost/Nixon.
