Since 2003, BAFTA Los Angeles has hosted the TV Tea Party honoring excellence in Television. As well as honoring the year's achievements in television, the event serves to raise funds and awareness of our Learning, Inclusion and Talent programs.
The event is a must-attend event and provides a relaxed social atmosphere for our guests, who include television executives and celebrities, as well as Emmy Nominees and talent from the UK, US and beyond.
2020 TV Tea Party
BAFTA Members, Emmy nominees and industry executives gathered Poolside at The Beverly Hilton Hotel to celebrate the year's achievements in TV on the weekend of the Primetime Emmy Awards 2019. Guests seen enjoying traditional scones and afternoon tea, included Ava DuVernay, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fiona Shaw, Jared Harris, Jodie Comer, Sandra Oh, Joey King, Marie Kondo, Natasha Lyonne, Nathalie Emmanuel, Patricia Clarskson, Rachel Brosnahan, Stellan Skarsgard and many more. The afternoon raised funds and awareness for BAFTA's year round new talent programming in the US.

2012 TV Tea Party
The 2013 TV Tea was supported by BBC America and held on the rooftop of The London West Hollywood. Stars in attendance included Martin Freeman, Dominic Monaghan, Karen Gillan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Aaron Paul, Damian Lewis and Julian Fellowes.
