BAFTA Breakthrough US

BAFTA Breakthrough gives a platform to film, games and TV talent at that critical ‘breakthrough’ moment in their career. It aims to turn exciting and early success into a sustainable career for those who are accepted into the program.

BAFTA Breakthrough US has been running in North America since 2020, with the cohort chosen by their peers in the industry.

As with its sister program in the UK, BAFTA Breakthrough US particularly welcomes applications from underrepresented groups who have faced barriers to progression in their careers.

If you are 18 or over, work in North America, and meet the specific program eligibility criteria in the handbook you can apply.
