Janette Hodds is a Liverpool-based senior casting producer, welfare producer and development producer with more than a decade of experience. Her work stretches across a broad range of factual and true crime series for such popular networks as Peacock, Sky Crime, ITV and Channel 5. Her strong skill set includes managing casting teams, sourcing contributors and ensuring that the welfare and duty of care for contributors and production staff is maintained throughout production.

Her work often involves complex projects dealing with sensitive topics, such as World’s Most Notorious Killers (Peacock, 2024) and the forthcoming six-part Married to a Serial Killer (Paramount+/Channel 5), where she managed both casting and legal compliance issues.
