Dylan Marshall

Prince William BAFTA Scholar

Born in Warwick, Dylan Marshall is awarded the Prince William BAFTA Scholarship as he prepares to enter his final year at Warwickshire College and University Centre in Royal Leamington Spa. Pursuing a degree in Games Art and Design, Dylan continues to perform in local theatre and on-screen projects, honing skills in storytelling, character movement, and speech that enhance his ability to create realistic environments and experiences.

Diagnosed at a young age with Irlen Syndrome, also known as Visual Stress, Dylan wears dark blue lenses that help him read, see contrast and depth perception, and prevent eye strain migraines. His personal experience with visual challenges fuels his passion for making the games industry more inclusive for all players.

“I’m delighted to receive the Prince William BAFTA Scholarship. It will enable me not only to study, but also to continue my creative passions and connect with the industry to influence visual inclusion.”
