The BAFTA Scotland Audience Award for Favourite Scot on Screen in partnership with Screen Scotland, is the only category voted for by the public. The six nominees have been selected by an independent jury comprised of Scottish media and culture experts, and recognises the key Scottish talent who have made an impact with audiences in the past year.
The public can now vote for their winner from the six nominees here. The vote remains open until 5.00pm on Wednesday 30 October, and the winner will be announced at the BAFTA Scotland Awards ceremony on Sunday 17 November.

Eligibility for the BAFTA Scotland Audience Award follows the same dates as the 15 competitive categories in the Awards this year, 11 May 2023 – 1 May 2024. Previous winners of the BAFTA Scotland Audience Award include Lawrence Chaney for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Sam Heughan for Outlander, and Lauren Lyle for Karen Pirie.

The BAFTA Scotland Awards 2024 will take place on Sunday 17 November at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

The BAFTA Scotland Awards operate on a not-for-profit basis and tickets for the ceremony are available to buy at events.bafta.org now. The ceremony will be live streamed for those unable to attend at https://www.youtube.com/bafta, with an edited highlights programme broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 20 November.
