Victor Pemberton

A British writer best known for his work on Doctor Who (1968), Pemberton first appeared on the sci-fi series as an actor before returning as a script editor, and was responsible for introducing the sonic screwdriver when he wrote the serial ‘Fury from the Deep’. His other notable credits included Timeslip (1971) and Tightrope (1972).
