A British actor, who appeared regularly on British television and films from the 1960s through to the 2000s. While still a teenager, he appeared in seminal British drama To Sir, with Love (1967), and would go on to win film roles in Burke & Hare (1972), Steptoe and Son Rides Again (1973), Brannigan (1975) and The Scouting Book for Boys (2009). On the small screen, he had notable roles in Doctor Who (1973), Emmerdale Farm (1977), Ivanhoe (1982) and Silent Witness (1997).
