A beloved British actor who will be best remembered for playing James Bond on more occasions than any other actor, Moore starred as 007 in seven films between 1973 and 1985. On television he was also known for playing suave adventurers, unforgettably starring as Simon Templar in The Saint (1962-1969) and Lord Brett Sinclair in The Persuaders! (1971-1972).
