A British executive producer and writer, who was based in Sweden for the past decade. Ruth McCance worked as a script editor at BBC Scotland, before taking leading development and production roles at Ruby Films, Pathé, Film Four and Warp Films. Her development work included the films Ratcatcher (1999), It’s All About Love (2003) and Son of Rambow (2008), with executive producer and writing credits for the television series Little Birds (2020). Born in Belfast, she also served as a board member of Northern Ireland Screen (2007-2011).
