An Australian actress who grew up in the aboriginal Walmadjari tribe, Lawford-Wolf trained at the Aboriginal Islander Dance Theatre in Sydney before making her stage acting debut aged 23. On screen she was best known for Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), with other credits including Bran Nue Dae (2009) and Last Cab to Darwin (2015).
