A British writer and presenter, who won a BAFTA and was nominated for a second for his children’s series The Giblet Boys (2005). He was also a senior writer on Holby City (2010-2020), and wrote episodes of Cluedo (1993), Manchild (2002), New Tricks (2004-2005), Hustle (2007), EastEnders (2014) and Casualty (2014-2019). As a keen angler, Fisher presented Channel 4’s Screaming Reels series (1993-1996), and was also a guest presenter on Escape to River Cottage (1999), River Cottage Gone Fishing (2007), It’s not Just Saturday (1996) and Springwatch (2008). He co-wrote The River Cottage Fish Book with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, as well as solo penning the River Cottage Seafishing Handbook.
