A British broadcaster who became one of the best known figures in British horse racing through Channel 4 Racing (1984-2012), McCririck was known for his insight from the betting ring, his flamboyant appearance and his outspoken views. His appearances on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother (2005) brought him notoriety with a wider audience later in his career.
