A British writer and producer, who is best known for writing several episodes of Hinterland (aka Y Gwyll, 2013-2016), for which he won and was nominated for a BAFTA Cymru award in 2014 and 2018 respectively. Murphy also wrote episodes and executive produced on Hidden (aka Craith, 2018). For the big screen, he wrote Denmark (2019) and Justine (2020), with his final film, Fairytale, in post-production at time of publication. Murphy also co-founded production company Severn Screen (2009-2018).
