Frances Kavanaugh

A successful screenwriter of B westerns at Monogram Pictures, Kavanaugh created the character of Lash La Rue, a whip-wielding cowboy who debuted in Song of Old Wyoming (1945). She also worked uncredited as a script doctor on bigger movies such as the George Raft vehicle Outpost In Morocco (1949).
