An American actor and singer who became a star and heartthrob playing the character of Keith on The Partridge Family (1970-1974), Cassidy’s vocals impressed so much on the show that it also launched his career in music. His most memorable screen performance outside of the show came via an Emmy-nominated guest role in Police Story (1978).
