Connie Sawyer

27 November 1912 to 22 January 2018

An American actress who amassed over 140 screen credits in a career that spanned seven decades, Sawyer’s breakthrough came after Frank Sinatra spotted her on Broadway and recommended she reprise her role in the film adaptation of A Hole in the Head (1959). She memorably appeared in When Harry Met Sally (1989) and Dumb and Dumber (1994).
