A British actress, who predominantly worked on British television. She made her screen debut in 1955, notching up 44 credits until her final guest appearance in season four of Whitechapel (2013). Early on in her career, she starred in a Doctor Who story, alongside the First Doctor in ‘The Dalek Invasion of Earth’ (1964). She went on to appear in such series as Paradise Postponed (1986), Ever Decreasing Circles (1987-1989), The Sculptress (1996), Grange Hill (1998-1999) and Doctors (2003). Film roles included Peter’s Friends (1992) and In the Bleak Midwinter (1995).
