100 days to go - Sir Christopher Lee and Tim Burton backstage at Film Awards in 2011
In 2011, Tim Burton presented Sir Christopher Lee with the Academy Fellowship. Lee has starred in nearly 200 films, such as Dracula (1958), The Wicker Man (1973) and The Lord of the Rings series (2001-2003). He has collaborated with Burton on many films, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and Sweeny Todd (2007). On receiving the Fellowship, Lee expressed that “it’s a very unexpected but very great honour to find myself in such distinguished company to receive the Fellowship.” Watch Lee's Fellowship acceptance speech in full.
