Screenwriters’ Lecture Series Broadcast on Sky Arts 1

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) today announced that it will be working with Sky Arts 1 for the very first time, broadcasting the second BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters' Lecture Series every Thursday for seven weeks, starting tomorrow at 8pm with William Nicholson (Gladiator, Shadowlands).

John Willis Appointed BAFTA Chairman

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has named John Willis as its new Chairman, succeeding Tim Corrie after his two-year tenure. Corrie will continue to serve the Academy as Deputy Chairman for a further year.

The region's biggest celebration of the British videogames industry, Games Britannia, is giving people the chance to ask a panel of industry experts about the issues facing the industry at a free event at Sheffield Hallam University. For the first time ever, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) are bringing their Games Question Time event to a venue outside of London.
