As part of a new series of features and to mark the UN’s International Day of People with Disabilities on Saturday, we spoke to Sam Tatlow – creative diversity partner at ITV and chair of BAFTA's disability advisory group – and Andrew Miller – disability champion, broadcaster and BAFTA trustee – who shared with us their experiences of working in the screen industries, their thoughts on BAFTA’s commitment to improving access for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people, and what the industry needs to do next. Nominees including Biffy Clyro, Brian Cox, Caitríona Balfe, Dougray Scott, Izuka Hoyle, Jack Docherty, Jack Lowden, Mark Bonnar, Marli Siu, Ncuti Gatwa, Phyllis Logan, Sam Heughan and Yong-chin Breslin are amongst the names confirmed to be attending the BAFTA Scotland Awards this Sunday. 

They will be joined by this years' Outstanding Contribution recipient Peter Capaldi, as well as a host of guest presenters including Armando Iannucci, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, Kate Dickie and Sharon Rooney.
