Lassie Lou Ahern

25 June 1920 to 15 February 2018

An American silent era child star, Ahern made her film debut aged three in The Call of the Wild (1923) and went on to star in Uncle Tom’s Cabin (1927) and The Forbidden Woman (1927). Concerned by the rising violence in moves her father ended her acting career, but she returned to Hollywood in the 1940s as a dancer.
