A British singer and impressionist who found fame on ITV’s Search For a Star (1981), Longthorne went on to present his own series The Joe Longthorne Show (1988-1991). He performed his variety act in sold-out stage shows around the world, and he also notably appeared in The Les Dennis Laughter Show (1987-1988).
