Henning Mankell

A Swedish crime writer best known for his novels featuring the melancholic detective Kurt Wallander, Mankell’s twelve Wallander stories received numerous screen adaptations including two popular Swedish language series starring Rolf Lassgard (1994-2006) and Krister Henriksson (2005-2013), and an English language version with Kenneth Branagh (2008-2016).
