A British producer and director who specialised in light entertainment and comedy, Maxin worked alongside comedians including Les Dawson, Dick Emery, Charlie Drake and Jack Benny. He received two BAFTA nominations for his work on The Morecambe & Wise Show (1968-1977), winning for the famous 1977 Morecambe and Wise Christmas Show.
