A British director, who was BAFTA nominated for the television mini-series To the Ends of the Earth (2005). David Attwood started at the BBC as a production assistant on the likes of Play for Today, before moving up to production manager on such series as Boys from the Blackstuff (1982) and Dead Head (1986). He then began directing, with credits on Rockliffe’s Babies (1987-1988), The Bill (1989-1994), Wild West (1992), Moll Flanders (1996), Shot Through the Heart (1998), East is East (1999), The Hound of the Baskervilles (2002), Stuart: A Life Backwards (2007) and Blood and Oil (2010).
