The biennial Gala is a magical evening and BAFTA’s biggest fundraising event. Taking place at The Londoner, the world’s first super boutique hotel, on Friday 11 March 2022, guests will enjoy a very special evening filled with performances, special guests and a charity auction.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of guests in 2019 the event raised £480,000 for BAFTA initiatives including BAFTA Kids and BAFTA Scholarships . The devastating impact of Covid-19 on the prospects of young people building careers in the arts means that the support we can give via our programmes is needed now more than ever and in 2022 we are hoping to raise even more!
“We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We must ensure the next generation of talent is identified, nurtured, celebrated and given every opportunity to succeed”
- Amanda Berry, OBE, Chief Executive of BAFTA
