THE CONNECTING PHASE

The successful entrants will be matched with an industry professional, to have one mentoring conversation with them about working in their chosen industry.

BAFTA will liaise with the successful entrants to determine the time and format of their conversation. This might be an in-person meeting, a phone or Skype conversation, or an alternative arrangement, dependent on the availability and location of the industry professional.

The matching of the industry professionals with the successful entrants is BAFTA’s decision and will be made at BAFTA’s discretion. Those selected for BAFTA Connects will be matched with one industry professional only.

The entrant must be available at the agreed time of the meeting or call. If for any reason the entrant misses their call or meeting time, BAFTA reserves the right to withdraw the opportunity offer.

Any travel to or from an in-person meeting spot between the industry professional and the entrant will be undertaken at the entrant’s own cost. BAFTA is not responsible for travel to or from the meeting.
