CARYN MANDABACH: Wow. Wow. Thank you all so much. This is deeply, deeply appreciated and you have no idea how much we owe to the guy I'm about to introduce, who has written every episode, 20 of them and counting: Steve Knight.
STEVE KNIGHT: Thank you. This is great, and it means a lot to all of us, to all of the team. The geniuses who take a tiny budget and make a huge programme, and everyone at Tiger Aspect. Everyone who has been part of the whole thing. My parents, who lived the real life of the blinders, and the only cloud over it is I just wish that the people who have created some iconic TV characters ‑ Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson ‑ soon maybe they will be here as well, because I think they deserve to be.
