As president of 20th Century Fox during the 1960s, Zanuck followed in the footsteps of his father Darryl. As an independent producer he was responsible for hits such as Jaws (1975), Cocoon (1985), Driving Miss Daisy (1989), Road To Perdition (2002) and Tim Burton’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (2005).
