Director
A director with an eclectic body of work, Yates is best known for two contrasting films, Bullitt (1968) and The Dresser (1983). Following his debut with Summer Holiday (1963) he enjoyed success with Robbery (1967), The Friends of Eddie Coyle (1973), The Deep (1977), Breaking Away (1979) and Krull (1983).
