Wyatt enjoyed leading roles in films such as Lost Horizon (1937), None But The Lonely Heart (1944) and Gentlemen's Agreement (1947). But she is perhaps best remembered in her native US for playing, and winning three Emmys as the matriarch in the well loved TV sitcom Father Knows Best (1954-60).
