Mike Townson

Producer
Following a spell as a researcher On The Braden Beat (1962), Townson enjoyed the first of two stints on the BBC’s Tonight (1964, 1977-78), and was producer on Twenty-Four Hours (1965) and Nationwide (1969). Moving to ITV, he produced the factual series TV Eye (1978) and The Cook Report (1987).
