An experimental filmmaker during the psychedelic era, the content of Steckler’s films suited the times in which they were made. With little regard to genre convention he directed cult, low budget movies such as The Incredibly Strange Creatures (1964), The Thrill Killers (1964) and Rat Pfink A Boo Boo (1966).
