A diminutive actor who played comedy roles alongside the likes of Milton Berle on television, Stang took on an atypically dramatic part in The Man With The Golden Arm (1956). But he will best be remembered for his character voice work, notably as Top Cat (1961-62) in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon.
