An American actress who made six films with Clint Eastwood, Locke starred in films including The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), Bronco Billy (1980) and Sudden Impact (1983) while she and Eastwood began a relationship away from the screen. She had found fame after receiving an Osccar nomination for her supporting performance in The Heart is a Lonely Hunter (1968).
