A former actor who found his niche as a successful television executive with 20th Century Fox, Self had a hand in shows across all the networks including such hits as Daniel Boone (1964-70), Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea (1964-68), Lost In Space (1965-68), Batman (1966-68) and M*A*S*H (1972-83).
