A hugely popular radio broadcaster in his native Ireland, Ryan also worked in front of the television cameras, deploying his charm on the RTE talk show Ryan Confidential (2004-10). He also fronted the weight loss programme Operation Transformation and took a cameo as a tv interviewer in Veronica Guerin (2003).
